New methods of fast MR imaging

  • 1. Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Bicetre, 94 - Le Kremlin-Bicetre (France)

Description

This work describes the various fast imaging techniques, their evolution and the new prospects they offer. According to their basic principles, they can be divided up into three categories, which we will successively study: reduction of the number of data collected, fast scanning of Fourier's plane, and reduction of the repetition time of the sequence. For each of these modes, the contrast, the clinical use and the possible difficulties of use are specified. The various methods are then classified according to the duration of image acquisition
