Focusing properties of a plasma wave

Creators

Description

This paper investigates the focusing properties of electron plasma waves with a two dimensional structure numerically. Trajectories are determined for a large set of initial conditions: phase velocity of the wave, energy and relative phase of the particles to be accelerated. The relative phase is found to be of paramount importance
