Sensitivity study of the waste package near field subsystem
Creators
- 1. Battelle Memorial Institute, Battelle Project Management Div., Office of Nuclear Waste Isolation, Columbus, OH (USA)
Description
The U.S. Salt Repository Project Office has been required to assess the post closure performance of an underground salt repository over a 10,000 year period with respect to NRC and EPA regulatory criteria. Predicting the performance over such a period of time requires development and characterization of reasonable systems models. There also was a requirement for the development of complementary cumulative distribution functions, CCDF's, which in turn required the performance of sensitivity and uncertainty analyses of the systems models
