The development and irradiation test of radiation hard scientific instruments on spacecraft

  • 1. Inst. of Space and Astronautical Science, Sagamihara, Kanagawa (Japan)

Description

We study the development and irradiation test method for devices on spacecraft by proton beam. The radiation dose that a satellite receives in planetary explorer becomes about 10 times in comparison with that in the earth vicinity. It is holding the success of interplanetary missions, to carry out the radiation measure neatly. (author)
