Phase diagrams of PbTe-Fe system
Description
Methods of physico-chemical analysis were applied to investigate phase diagram of PbTe-Fe cross section. The cross section is stated to be a quasibinary cross section of the Pb-Fe-Te ternary system. Iron solubility in PbTa at 300 K makes up 3 mol%. Thermo-electric parameters of solid solutions of the PbTe-Fe system are studied; the character of their variation is associated both with increase of the degree of bond metallicity and with presence of defects in the structure at small iron substitutions for lead in PbTe
