Temperature effect on the structure and composition of a copper -zinc alloy
Creators
Description
Through the scanning electron microscopy and x-ray, the alterations on the structure and composition were investigated on an allo surface composition of 71.97% Cu and 28.03% zinc, by heating to 600 C, 800 C and 900 C respectively, they were cool down through a slow and fast process. The experimental results shown the presence of structural and composition modifications due to zinc and copper diffusion and the formation of zinc oxide on the layer surface of this alloy
