Development of analysis method for prestressed concrete reactor containment structures subjected to ultimate pressure(II)

Description

By analyzing the situations of domestic/abroad techniques, global and local failure mode of the containment structures is analyzed and the nonlinear analysis modeling technique for the containment are carried out. Then, the two-dimensional ax i-symmetric modeling and three-dimensional modeling with multi-shell elements in FEM analysis are applied. Through the modelling of rebars and tendons of PCCV experimental reactor model, the ultimate behavior of containment structure due to internal pressure are obtained and the accuracy of analysis techniques are tested. It can be concluded that the three-dimensional modeling technique in this study can be used effectively for the analysis of prestressed concrete reactor containment structures subjected to ultimate pressure
