Study of thermal ion emission of natural minerals
Description
A possibility of using natural alumosilicates as intense alkali ion beam sources is shown. Ion beams were producted in quasistationary condition on laser heating of the emitting surface. Potassium and cesium ion beams of good mass purity are generated. 4 refs., 3 figs
