Description

In the framework of the long term storage of radwaste, a new thorium phosphate diphosphate Th4(PO4)4P2O7 has been synthesized by wet and dry chemical processes and characterized. Because of its high resistance to corrosion in water, it appears as a durable ceramic for the nuclide storage. (authors)
