Experiments on the dryout of packed beds have the following goals: 1) Investigating the influence of floor cooling, 2) measuring the dryout heat fluxes for adiabatic and cooled bottoms in dependence of particle size, 3) understanding the phenomena occurring during steel particle melting after dryout. Die zum Dryout von Partikelschuettungen durchgefuehrten Experimente haben vor allem zum Ziel: 1. den Einfluss der Bodenkuehlung zu untersuchen, 2. die Dryout-Waermefluesse fuer den adiabaten und gekuehlten Boden in Abhaengigkeit von der Partikelgroesse zu messen, 3. die Phaenomene zu verstehen, die auftreten, wenn Stahlpartikel nach Dryout schmelzen.
