Competition of γ-transitions with nucleus spin change of ΔI=2 and Δ=1 in fast rotating nuclei

Description

Experimental data on a continuous γ-radiation spectrum of high-spin states of 154Er nucleus and results of their theoretical analysis are Oescribed in brief. Gamma-radiation spectrum and its composition by multipolarity of transitions has been studied in the 40Ar+118Sn reaction at the energy of projectile particles equai to 185 MeV. More than 50% of total cross sections of the reaction are associated with the 4n-channel resulting in 154Er isotope formation. Multipole radiation composition has been determined by spectrum and angular distribution of γ-rays. Only quadrupole (ΔI=2) and dipole transitions have been taken into account in the analysis. Presence of structure in a quasicontinuous spectrum of γ-radiation of a transition 1,H54Er nucleus expressed in existence of two maxima in intensity of γ-radiation as an energy function of γ-quanta is stated experimentally and proved by calculations. Quanta shaping the second peak are formed in disintegration of high-spin states; they heve quadrupole nature and decrease nucleus spin by two Planck units. IrraOiation in the range of the first peak has mixed nature and it is partially generated by transitions from the high-spin range of the nucleus spectrum. Peaks in the intensity of radiation can be interpreted as a result of peculiarities of nucleus yrast-line shaped by configurations of spheroidal medium field
