Description
The integral perturbed angular correlation technic has been used to measure the g-factors of the 264 keV and 632 keV nuclear levels in 77As. The g-factor of the 264 keV (5/2-) state with tau=450+- -+30 ps was determined through the 367-264 keV gamma cascade in an external field of 30 kOe yielding the value g sub(5/2-) = +0.33+- -+0.05. The g-factor of the 632 keV (5/2+) state with tau=95+- -+8 ps was measured through the 588-417 keV gamma cascade making use of the hyperfine magnetic field at As nuclei in a dilute solid solution (1 at %) of radioactive Ge as impurity in Fe. The result is g sub(5/2+) = +1.42+- -+0.32
