Description
Experimental results are reported on the employment of acoustic emission for the quality control of model specimens of high-level waste solidification final products in the process of their heat treatment. Based on the results a conclusion is drawn on the possibility of acoustic emission application to the quality control of glass beads and ceramic specimens. It proves possible to unambiguously interpret the acoustic emission signals recorded during heat treatment. 2 refs., 5 figs
