Overheating of the electronic system as the source of nonlinearity of volt-ampere characteristics in amorphous InOx films

Description
Volt-ampere characteristics of amorphous film InOx under conditions of superconductor - dielectric transition induced by magnetic field were studied. It is shown that nonlinearity of the characteristics in the field above critical one stems from overheating of current carriers in reference to the lattice. There are indications that the mechanism is also essential below the transition point. It is detected that the heating masks completely the direct effect of electric field in the vicinity of superconductor - dielectric transition

Исследованы вольт-амперные характеристики аморфной пленки InOx в условиях перехода сверхпроводник - диэлектрик, вызванного магнитным полем. Показано, что нелинейность этих характеристик в поле выше критического связана с перегревом носителей тока относительно решетки. Есть указания, что этот механизм также существен ниже точки перехода. Обнаружено, что при этом нагрев полностью маскирует прямое влияние электрического поля в окрестности перехода сверхпроводник - диэлектрикAdditional details
