The value of perfusion CT in diagnosing lung cancer and evaluating curative effect

Description
CT perfusion (PCT) imaging has significant value in diagnosing and inspecting curative effect. PCT is a functional imaging tool which can non-invasively evaluate blood perfusion in vivo. In recent years, thanks to the advances of medical imaging equipment and scanning technology the application of medical imaging is being shifted from the pathology and anatomy-based morphological study toward the combination of morphological and functional study in molecular level. In this paper, we summarized the principle of PCT, its values in diagnose of lung cancer, relationship to biomarkers, and evaluating curative effect. (authors)
