Description
The mutual interaction of plasma sheaths is investigated in our contribution. A two-dimensional particle computer model was used to solve the I–V characteristics of a small test cylindrical probe immersed in two different sheath structures—around a big cylindrical probe and near an uneven surface. The effects that appeared were discussed for different positions and bias of the small probe. We interpreted the data obtained by a standard analysis of the computed I–V characteristics, and we say whether the trends of the plasma parameters obtained from the I–V characteristics correspond to real situations.
