Updating of the REVMOC program

Description

It is proposed to use a modified REVMOC program to optimize the magneto-optical properties of beam transportation channels which contain octupole lenses. Since the calculations using this program require an insignificant computer time (10000 particles per minute at VAX-8530), 5-10 iterations are required to select optimal parameters of octupoles. The program was used to level the radiation intensity on the target through octupole effect on the beam. 10 refs., 2 figs
