Creators
Description
The state of foreign national and international programs on in-pile studies of NPP fuel behaviour under accident and transient operational conditions is considered. Conditions simulated during emergency tests and the most characteristic phenomena and processes in the fuel under the study are described. The main elements, aims and experimental basis of the USA programs for the study of LWR and LMFBR reactor safety are considered in detail
