Description
The positron lifetime spectra of La2-xMxCuO4 (LMCO, M=Sr, Ba, x=0.05, 0.10, 0.125, 0.15, 0.2) were measured at room temperature for studying the long-standing mystery of '1/8 abnormal' in doped lanthanum cuprate. Electron density ne and void concentration (number density) CV were calculated as a function of substitution content x. The appearance of peak (ne) and valley (CV) at x=0.125 and the correlation with superconductivity were discussed. (authors)
