Method of determination of peak amplitudes of radial free oscillations particles in a phasotron
Description
The invention is referred to accelerator technology and can be used, for instance, to increase the efficiency of particle extraction from accelerator, to improve the extended beam quality. The invention is aimed at determining the maximum amplitudes of free radial oscillations in a phasotron. The method for determining free oscillation amplitudes in a phasotron is based on applying the relation between accelerated beam radius increment and the change of reversal frequency (or accelerating voltage frequency), corresponding to it
