Description
The temperature dependence rho(T) is studied in Nb-Ge specimen having various critical temperatures T/sub c/ and in an Nb--Si specimen. The accuracies with which various models describe the experimental rho(T) dependences are compared. It is shown that the model which relates the anomolous character of rho(T) with ''spreading'' of the electron-density-of-states peak near the Fermi energy best describes the data collected. The dependence of various characteristics on electronic mean-free-path length, and the correlation with T/sub c/ is discussed
