Cherenkov radiation of electron-photon showers proceeding in water

Description
Space distribution of the Cherenkov radiation is calculated using the electron angular distribution function, correct up to the angles π. The characteristics of the Cherenkov radiation at distances much larger than the shower range are calculated in approximation of a fixed radiating point. The finite shower length is taken into account at small distances and at the angles near THETAsub(c) (the angle under which the electron emits the Cherenkov photons)
