Influence of superplastic deformation conditions on transformation of laminated microstructure in VT9 titanium alloy
Description
Systematic investigation of laminated microstructure transformation to equiaxial one under temperature-rate conditions of superplastic deformation is carried out taking the VT9 titanium alloy as an example. Acceleration of transformation is shown to be caused by polymorphous transformation α → β and by the development of grain-boundary slip. A diagram of α-plate separation during deformation under conditions of superplasticity is suggested
