Sulphurous ligands reaction with the complex Au2Pt (Ch2P(S)Ph2)4Cl2

Description
The exchange reaction of chlorine in the complex Au2Pt (Ch2P(S)Ph2)4Cl2 by the ligands SCh2Ph, S2CN(Ch2CH3)2- and SCN is described. The new sulfur derivatives are characterized by chemical analysis, infrared and electronic spectroscopy and proton nuclear magnetic resonance. Their sulfur ends to the two gold metal atoms coordinate the ligands in a symmetrical way. Elemental analysis agrees with the stoichiometries and structures proposed
