Imaging micron-sized beams with optical transition radiation
Creators

Description
Optical transition radiation (OTR) can be used to obtain images of beam profiles and to measure beam divergence, and thus to determine beam emittance. We discuss the effects of diffraction on the limit of resolution of OTR images used as a diagnostic for micronsized relativistic beams
