Description
The magnetostriction curves of nanocrystalline Fe-(Cu-Nb)-Si-B alloys were measured. The results show that the saturation magnetostriction of all nanocrystalline alloys are smaller than that of the amorphous alloys with same composition. It was inferred that the decrease of the magnetostriction is not the crucial reason for improvement of soft magnetic properties. ((orig.))
