Basis states for Hamiltonian QCD

Description
We discuss ''harmonic oscillator'' states on the SU(3) manifold and derive the matrix elements of operators in the QCD Hamiltonian in this basis. These states are favored by computer studies, and they permit the construction of a gauge-invariant basis
