Kinetics of samarium solvent extraction and stripping in systems with DiOMPh
Description
The kinetics of Sm3+ extraction with the 75 % DiOMPh solution in decane from nitrate-phosphate media and solid phase stripping from organic DiOMPh solutions by aqueous oxalic acid solutions with the diffusion cell method and stirring, is studied. The effect of solvent and small additions of different modifiers on the rate of samarium mass transfer is considered. It is shown that during stripping with 7% oxalic acid solution the complete Sm3+ withdrawal from organic solvents is achieved for 30-40 min. 5 refs.; 3 figs
