Description
A zero parameter model calculation of deep inelastic electron scattering in the energy range of the δ (1236) resonance is presented. It is assumed that the major effect of the virtual photon is to excite a δ (1236) from a nucleon, and that this resonance is bound to the remaining nucleons. The results are compared with existing experimental data and with other theoretical results. (orig.)
