Description

The Tore Supra resonant double loop antenna has allowed us to reach energy and power density records per antenna. It has proved to be a reliable concept for long pulse operations. Boron carbide has shown to be a satisfactory solution for Faraday screen coating. Combined observations on MHD activity and fast ion losses during the sawtooth stabilization brings new insight on the phenomenon. Finally, some very encouraging results have been obtained possibly showing the way for continuous stabilization of sawteeth
