Scintiscanning of low grade malignancies of the parotid gland

Description

99m-TcO4- and 67Ga-citrate scintigraphies have recently been applied to parotid gland tumors for differential diagnosis from inflammatory lesion, certification of adenolymphoma, and preoperative estimation of malignancy grade. In this report, the results of RI scintigraphy are compared among subgroups of the low grade malignant neoplasms. (orig.)
