Description

This Ordinance provides for the safe use, transportation and disposal of radioactive materials and irradiating apparatus. It repeals the Fluoroscopes Ordinance of 1958. Radioactive materials whose radioactivity does not exceed levels as set out in a Schedule to the Ordinance are exempted from application of the Ordinance. (NEA)

Abstract (French)

Cette Ordonnance a pour objet la securite de l'utilisation des matieres radioactives et des appareils emettant des rayonnements ainsi que leur transport et leur evacuation. Elle abroge l'Ordonnance de 1958 sur les fluoroscopes. Les matieres radioactives presentant une radioactivite inferieure aux limites prescrites en annexe a la presente Ordonnance, sont exemptees de son application
