Eddy current sensor probe
Description
The probe of the present invention inspects fine tubes in a steam generator of a PWR-type power plant facility nondestructively. Namely, an amplifier is disposed to a stage subsequent to each of coils of a plurality of sensors respectively. In addition, a switch is disposed to the further subsequent stage for serially processing information obtained from each of the coils. Signals from the switch are sent through one cable to an analyzing/displaying section. With such a constitution, the inspected information obtained through the coils is amplified by the amplifier to a level endurable to noises. Information from the plurality of coils is sent to the analyzing/display section through one cable by sending information while changing the switch successively. As a result, the detection signals cause no lowering of an S/N ratio in the midway of the transmission through the cable. In addition, troubles such as disconnection of the cable and cost for the cable can be reduced. (I.S.)
