Electron capture into excited states in collisions of highly charged ions with atoms: a theoretical and experimental challenge
Description
The current status of the studies on creation of excited states by charge transfer collisions of multiply charged ions with atoms is discussed. Both theoretical and experimental problems involved in these studies are considered and suggestions are made for resolving some of them. (author)
