On the restoration of the heliospheric current sheet configuration in the past from geomagnetic data

Description

Possibility of utilizing various geomagnetic data for remodeling configurations of geliospheric current layer in th past is discussed. Method for such a remodeling is based on analysis of information on polarity of interplanet magnetic field near the Earth, derived from characteristics of geomagnetic field daily variations.
