Description

A new code based PIC method to simulated intense beam propagation is developed in IMP. This code is used to crosscheck the RFQ beam dynamics for ADS project. In this paper, the simulation resulted is presented. Through the simulation, a better understanding of beam behavior in RFQ is got. The numerical techniques is also discussed and presented in this paper. (authors)
