Anomalous transmissions of limited X and gamma beams on the three-wave diffraction

Description

The solution of dynamic problem on the three-wave diffraction of limited x beams is obtained for the first time. In view of the great importance of gamma beams multiwave diffraction account in the gamma-laser problem the solution is obtained With account for resonance nuclear scattering. The symmetric case of noncoplanar three-wave diffraction is investigated when two reflected waves interact not directly but through the incident wave. In this case the condition of anomalous transmission amplification is realized. It is shown that propagation of limited wave beams in the three-wave case is approximately described by the parabolic type equation. The law of beam broadening according to distance increase from the input face is determined. The limits of plane-wave approximation applicability are evaluated. Formulas for electron and nuclear absorption coefficients are obtained. The comparison with the two-wave limited beams diffraction case is made
