Mass-, rapidity-, and spin-distributions of fireballs in pp-collisions
Description
A model is presented for the calculation of the mass-, rapidity-, and spin-distributions of fireballs produced in high-energy proton-proton collisions. The model is based on the statistical bootstrap theory and on the assumption of complete inelasticity of hadronic matter in the collision. Fragmentation into four fireballs is assumed for experimental reasons, but generalization into other cases is straighforward. (author)
