Two-phase summation imaging using transvenous DSA in subclavian steal syndrome
Description
A simple method is reported to obtain a two-phase summation image in subclavian steal syndrome using digital subtraction angiography (DSA) via selection of a mask during the early arterial phase and the contrast image during delayed retrograde filling of the ipsilateral vertebral artery and the postocclusive subclavian artery. The summation image results by employing replay of the stored image information. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Es wird ueber die einfache Moeglichkeit berichtet, beim Subclavian-Steal-Syndrom mittels der digitalen Subtraktionsangiographie (DSA) ein 2-Phasen-Summationsbild zu erhalten. Durch Setzen des Leerbilds (Maske) in der frueharteriellen Phase und des Fuellungsbildes in der Phase der verspaeteten retrograden Kontrastierung der ipsilateralen A. vertebralis und der postokklusiven A. subclavia anhand der gespeicherten Bildinformation im Replay-Verfahren koennen beide Phasen in einer Abbildung festgehalten und dokumentiert werden.
