Nitrogen isotope exchange under effect of ammonia synthesis catalyst, K2[Fe2(CO)8] + K on SKT carbon

Description
The developed system, K2[Fe2(CO)8] + K on SKT carbon (System I) is able to facilitate the isotope exchange between nitrogen 14 and nitrogen 15, resulting in a equilibrium state of the beginning isotopes along with a percentage of diatomic nitrogen containing one atom of nitrogen 14 and one atom of nitrogen 15. The results of the chemical preparation and experimental studies were confirmed by formulas of binomial distributions which give the expected equilibrium isotope composition
