Diffraction dissociation and elastic scattering

Description
In the framework of the Regge scheme with a supercritical Pomeron we propose a model of the NN scattering amplitude that takes into account the contribution of processes of diffraction dissociation in the intermediate state. For the diffraction dissociation amplitude we use the model of Deck, which has previously been applied successfully to description of the main regularities of this process. Comparison of the calculated cross sections for NN interaction with experiment is performed, and predictions of the theory at higher energies are obtained
