Communication received from China Concerning Its Policies Regarding the Management of Plutonium
Description
The Secretariat has received a note verbale dated 5 September 2012 from the Permanent Mission of China to the IAEA in the enclosure of which the Government of China, in keeping with its commitment under the Guidelines for the Management of Plutonium (contained in INFCIRC/549 of 16 March 1998 and hereinafter referred to as the 'Guidelines'), and in accordance with Annexes B and C of the Guidelines, has made available information on its annual figures for holdings of civil unirradiated plutonium as of 31 December 2011.

Sekretariat poluchil ot Postojannogo predstavitel'stva Kitaja pri MAGATJe verbal'nuju notu ot 5 sentjabrja 2012 goda, v prilozhenii k kotoroj v sootvetstvii s objazatel'stvom Kitaja v ramkah Rukovodjashhih principov obrashhenija s plutoniem (soderzhashhihsja v dokumente INFCIRC/549 ot 30 marta 1998 goda i v dal'nejshem imenuemyh 'Rukovodjashhie principy') i soglasno prilozheniju V jetih Rukovodjashhih principov pravitel'stvo Kitaja predstavilo informaciju o svoih ezhegodnyh dannyh o zapasah grazhdanskogo neobluchennogo plutonija po sostojaniju na 31 dekabrja 2011 goda.
