Preparation of CaNa3DTPA and ZnNa3DTPA for (radio)pharmaceutical use

Description
Simple methods are described for the preparation of calciumtrisodium diethylenetriaminepentaacetate (CaNa3DTPA) and zinctrisodium diethylenetriaminepentaacetate (ZnNa3DTPA). A method is also suggested for the determination of the content of diethylenetriaminepentaacetate and calcium or zinc of the compounds, by successive complexometric titrations of the same sample solution of the compound. 1 tab., 9 refs
