Operator-support systems in fast breeder test reactor

Description
Computer systems are being used in Fast Breeder Test Reactor for safety-related supervision and operator-support functions. For safety-related applications, a dual computer configuration has been used for redundancy. This paper describes the display and hard copy features of the man-machine communication for this safety system. It also describes the human factor considerations incorporated from a regulatory perspective for guarding against tampering. (author). 1 ref., 2 figs
