On the #betta#-phi mass splitting mechanism from the hypercharge in the baryon multiplets
Description
The Dashen-Frautschi dispersion method is applied to investigate p-μ+ mass splitting. The model is used in which the protons and μ+ particles are described by the poles of the K0μ+ and anti K0p elastic amplitudes, respectively, in the Jsup(P)=1/2+ channel. The #betta# reversible phi mixing effects are shown to dominate in the mass difference. This result is interpreted as an indication of the existence of correlation between the hypercharge mass splitting in the unitary multiplets and the mixing effects
