Program for upgrading reactor performance of JOYO and utilization plan
Description
JOYO is used to conduct various irradiation tests for the development of future fast reactors and advanced nuclear fuel recycle systems. In order to conduct these tests, the Mk-III project has been designed to improve the irradiation capability of JOYO. Future plans include utilizing JOYO as an experimental reactor for the development and demonstration of new technologies, and as a transient irradiation test facility. (author)
