Reactor safety study (wash-1400): a review of the final report
Description
In reviewing the Reactor Safety Study, the authors have tried to keep in perspective the original intent of the Study - to provide a technically sound overall assessment of accident risks from commercial nuclear power plants in the United States. They have also taken note of the limits to the scope of the Study and limitations which the report attaches to the applicability of the Study's results and methodology. With respect to the intent to provide a technically sound overall assessment of the accident risks, the authors have identified several significant areas in which they have found the WASH-1400 report either deficient or containing unjustified assumptions
