Washing method for solvent in extraction of transuranium element
Description
An organic acid (for example, oxalic acid) having complexing effect is added to an aqueous Na carbonate solution for washing extraction solvent to adjust the pH of the mixed liquid to from about 9.0 to 9.5. Then, formation of a hardly separable emulsion phase can be suppressed, and the distribution ratio of Ru can be determined to about from 0.60 to 1.00, and about from 50 to 63% of Ru can be recovered to an aqueous phase.
