Functional and purpose approach to designing the environment radiation monitoring system

Description

Consideration is given to designing the environment radiation monitoring system based on the analysis of its purpose and functions. By the radiation monitoring system is meant complex of subjects and technical means which carry out collection, processing, storage and analysis of information on radioactive conditions and present recommendations as to the actions in the situation. Creation of the radiation monitoring system is governed by the aims of preserving safe environment, protecting alive and non-alive nature, life and health of the population. The system must provide short-term and long-term forecasts of the area radioactive situation, as well as remote after-effects of the radioactive contamination areas are targeted to determine their place and role in the system. 5 refs
