An analysis method of alpha spectra and applications
Description
Two peak shape functions are selected. They accurately represent the form of an experimental alpha peak obtained with semiconductor α-spectrometer. A method is proposed fitting peak parameters by doublet alpha spectra. A MULT program is constructed for multiplet alpha spectra. The program are checked by applying a standard spectrum. The program MULT is used to calculate alpha particle emission probabilities and 240Pu/239Pu atomic number ratio
